Swiss graphics became internationally known in the 1950s for its neutral, functional and objective approach. josef Muller Brockmann, a central figure in this movement, was a designer, teacher and author of several important studies of modern graphic design and visual communication.
I am interested in the systematic appraoch that Brockmann and other swiss graphic designers take. I like clean grid systems and geometric forms in design. Ive always been interested in art and in college i researched into modernism and minimalism.
Many minimalist artists are fasinated with grid systems and repeated patterns.
