Swiss graphics became internationally known in the 1950s for its neutral, functional and objective approach. josef Muller Brockmann, a central figure in this movement, was a designer, teacher and author of several important studies of modern graphic design and visual communication.

I am interested in the systematic appraoch that Brockmann and other swiss graphic designers take. I like clean grid systems and geometric forms in design. Ive always been interested in art and in college i researched into modernism and minimalism.
Many minimalist artists are fasinated with grid systems and repeated patterns.

i like the idea of taking a simple pictogram and making it 3D. The simplicity of the sculpture really makes it stand out in the enviroment.

otl Aicher's work for the Munich Olympics are very well known. He used a strong geometric approach to communicate his ideas.
